Thanks for the infos. Do you know how to reuse the brushless motor of a DVD/CD player ? Looks like a step motor with plenty of wires (I conted around 10 coils inside).
First, I am amazed what can do now a days. I am in computer since 50 years (yes started wtih 2nd generation, the one with transistors, octal and 4 Kbytes of memory). And I am proud of myself that I could follow and understand your explanation. The implication is that say on Skype you can pretend that somebody is with you as long as you have a movie from long ago. I can see a Krimi built on that.
Thanks for the info. It fills quite a few holes in my knowledge.
Same for my actual calipher. I though it was defect that is why I was planning a new one. Thanks for the heads up.
Good idea: I shall by a digital calipher next time one of the discount shop in my town fas it !
Very nice. Congratulation.

Where did you get the information that Champagne (trade mark) started with rhubarbe ?This method can be applied with any fruit. I use it myself to make "wine" of wild berries and then distille it to make alcool and liquor (= alcool + sugar).I remenber when I was a kid in Kaboul, street sellesr offering as a refreshment dry raisin macerated in water. They didn't know that after a few days the mixture exposed to the heat of summer was producing alcool. Customer were getting drunk!
