Where can I get the max6675 library? I can not seem to find it with web search!!
I plan to 3D print my case, with a separate hot plate, so the heat will not melt the plasice case.
What hotplate would recommend?
Your re-flow soldering is going to save me of time. I am right now soldering SMD parts by hand. I want to build one, that is I can find a hot plate. Keep up the great work :-)
I don't have any thing with a hot plate. May be I should go on Ebay to find a 1500W hot plate.
What MOSFET did you use?
Circuit Board Design Class
PCB Concepts and Materials
Assembling the Board
Laying Out the Board
I use XTC-3d high performance 3d print coating.
Thanks I think that will work.
May be I should mention what Accelorometer I plan to use. It's from Adafruit (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1231).
I was looking over your equation, I might see a problem tho. What happens when the booster burns out and the G load drops to zero, then the "v" drops to zero (v = 0 * 9.81 * (time of flight in seconds). So how do I know when the 40% speed reduction has been activated, and fire next stage?
What is better round (like the 186540) or flat cells? I am looking for is single cell with a very high discharge (20c or 40C needed to fire ematches in a high power rocketry project) with protection and rated atleast 2000mAH (4000 would be nice). What cell would you recommended?
Conclusion & Going Further
I really like you article of high speed photography. I want to do the same for my hobby of high power rocketry. I have a 1/4" lunch rod with a light pipe inside. So when the bird launches the launch lug blocks the light. This is sensed by a photo transistor which triggers the camera. My problem is I have not found a camera that have fast enough shutter/reaction to catch the bird. Any suggestion on what camera to use?Rocket Nut
HelloI am developing a data logging. To help my end users in programing I want to create a library of predefined functions. So my question how do I write the library functions?Thank you
I just found a prefect charger. It's the Adafruit Powerboost 1000C. It boost the 3. 7v cell to 5.5V at 1A, which I can with. Thanks for the help :-) Rocket NUt
OK Thanks for the info. Do you know of a charger that can charge multi cells using the USB power to charge them? I plan to raise the USB power rail from the normal 5V to 12V, so I will have enough power to charge the batteries, unless you know of a way to the cells with normal USB power .
I forgot to mention the batteries I want to use:SparkFun Polymer Lithium Ion battery (prt-13813) X 2 in series.
Can TP4056 Lipo charge mutli cells batery? For my project require 7.4V, which means I need two cells in series.Rocket Nut
