I'm starting with a composite I motor. It should produce 100-130 total lbs of force. Aluminum tube for the casing and graphite nozzle.
Awesome write up! I'm 100% scratch building a rocket currently, and if the computer is right it should go past 8000 feet and break the sound barrier, Unfortunately, I'm ineligible to join any rocket clubs, so I'll have to do the paperwork and launch structure myself, but considering I've made the engine work I think I'll have the patience. If you haven't yet made your own engines, I highly recommend that you attempt it safely!! There's nothing more satisfying then the roar of a successful homemade engine.
