    Making an instructable is like cooking, a piece of art, you make like it or not, its all personal taste my friend,dont be sad:( Combine and cream the sugar, shortening and eggs in a large mixing bowl. After the mixture is thoroughly combined, add in and mix 1 cup of flour, along with the baking soda, salt and baking powder. Stir in the 1 cup of milk and teaspoon of vanilla. Cream all ingredients together, and alternately mix 4 cups of flour into the dough. Cover the dough, and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.After chilling, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and roll the dough until it's 1/4 inch thick, using a lightly floured surface. If desired, use cookie cutters to achieve different shapes.
