  • $1 DIY Conductive Ink and Paint From Fire! (non Toxic, Homemade, Cheap)

After making a large quantity, could you paint a room, then prime, and paint over that with regular, indoor paint, creating a Faraday cage? I realize the windows and doors would need the fabric to create curtains out of, but the floor could be painted as well, before the flooring is put in. Does this stuff have the durability and longevity for such a project?

  • Face Detection and Tracking With Arduino and OpenCV

Wouldn't that just be a camcorder set to record movement?

Why don't you just update the code for 2017?

  • DIY PC Ambient Lighting Using Arduino and WS2812b LEDs

Thanks for the reply tintii. I think I have a new project to tackle! I currently run LED strips behind my television. I can change the color, but it's static, until I change it again. I usually keep it red, but it would be nice to have auto-changing colors. I also run a 16' strip over an arch between rooms. Could I set this up to affect that source as well?

Maybe I missed it, but does this project automatically change colors to match the dominate color on the television?

A Makers Wedding - Photo Booth

This might have an obvious answer, but what is actually being used to take the picture, the mac webcam? Seems like you could get better results, and much less heat by using a raspberry pi with a pi cam. Of course you probably would have had a little more coding work to do, maybe you thought of that and just didn't have the time. Someone else reading this may benefit from my comment on that though. Additionally, if they don't have a mac, the raspberry pi would be an ultra cheap alternative.I have considered doing this myself with several pi cams to get multiple perspectives of the same shot. No need to print when auto-uploading. The guests can just order the shots they want right from flickr, or whatever site is being used. Just supply some business cards with instructions on how to go about it. Furthermore they could just download them and take 'em to Wal-Mart or Walgreens, or wherever.Just my two cents!
