Yeah you lost any interest from me the moment you picked a clone frame. If you can't afford the frame you want, there are plenty of good cheap frames out there. Rewarding someone for blatantly ripping off someone else's design is pathetic. Cloning stifles innovation and runs actual innovators out of business.
One thing you could add that would really help people that are starting out designing their own circuits would be to add a picture of the auto-routed design above your finished and hand-tweaked version. It would help people know what to look for and what changes are normally made. Just a suggesstion.
You really should add a section on failsafes as well if you're posting an Instructable on any sort of quadcopter.
This is *not* a long range drone, it's a standard drone in every sense. See my comment above if you want to learn about actual long distance drones. With this setup you might get about 20 minutes of flight time, but you're not going to get much more than 1km out of the transmitter (if even that).
There's already a name for this drone, he didn't invent it. It's a modified TBS Discovery.
The author is probably right about the flight time, however you're not going to get much more than 1km out of that transmitter. You'd need a long range R/C link to go farther.
Uh this really isn't a long range quad, this is a standard range quad. If anyone came here hoping to find info on how to build a long range FPV quad, here's what to look into:- Either the TBS Crossfire or the Immersion RC EZUHF long range R/C link.- 2.4GHz video transmitters, receivers, and antennas (MUST be using a UHF system of some sort, if you try to use this with a standard 2.4GHz R/C transmitter you're going to have a very bad day).- A more efficient set of motors, like the TBS 400kv LR Motors. - Much longer arms and 15x6.5" props.- Most likely a 6s system, but definitely above a 3s.

I thought that's the direction you were heading in when you created different ball return channels for each cup. Adding either an optical sensor or momentary switch in each return, then routing them into an arduino (or even just an ATmega328 with Optiboot) would be a super simple and efficient way to track scoring. Then with any of the great display libraries available for Arduino (seven segment, LCD if you want to get really fancy) you could add a display above the game that showed the current score. Then all you'd need is a reset button down by end of the ball return to start the game over.
