Applying that much heat directly to a terminal of a high-discharge battery is always a terrible idea. Besides damaging the battery, you could also have it explode on you.

The main reason I read through this page was to see exactly how you implemented your ultrasonic sensors. You mention them once in the intro and then don't mention them ever again. What's up with it?

I signed up for a reminder when you actually start producing these, but I would also like to make my own. However the files section doesn't have anything in it. How do I go about getting the PCB design, BoM, and code? Outstanding work.
Woah you had a PCB made for this? Does it have the DIYduino/ATmega actually on the PCB or is there a Pro Micro soldered to it?
Yeah I'm definitely voting for this. Awesome idea man. So why didn't you take the extra steps of just adding a DIYduino to the PCB instead of soldering a Pro Micro to the top of it? Are there not designs available for Pro Micro DIY boards?
Yeah I saw that but I think the 32u4 is a bit overkill, why not just use the ATmega328?
Just out of curiousity why didn't you use an Adafruit 5v trinket for this?

...uh ... you are aware there are about a billion other breakfast dishes than ones that conform to "Xcountry Breakfast" right? For one, omelettes are massively more unanimously known than the English Breakfast. The vast majority of Americans for example have never even heard of it, a small percentage know that it has beans and tomato and that's the extent of their familiarity, and an extreme minority know all the components. And just about every other country in the world (at least ones that weren't former colonies) is the same. I'd bet a month's salary that the extreme majority on the African continent have never heard of it (despite numerous former colonies), whereas just about every restaurant I went to in three African countries all served omelettes.

The wording in step 4 really doesn't make any sense. Can you please rewrite that section?
Uhhh this is definitely not "without doubt the single most famous breakfast offering in the world". I think you are confusing "the world" with "Britain" or maybe even "The EU".

Yeah keeping the printer clear of debri and dust is a great biproduct, but being able to successfully print with ABS is going to be the main benefit of this enclosure. Also, if you have kids it can protect people from getting burned as well.

Yeah you lost any interest from me the moment you picked a clone frame. If you can't afford the frame you want, there are plenty of good cheap frames out there. Rewarding someone for blatantly ripping off someone else's design is pathetic. Cloning stifles innovation and runs actual innovators out of business.
One thing you could add that would really help people that are starting out designing their own circuits would be to add a picture of the auto-routed design above your finished and hand-tweaked version. It would help people know what to look for and what changes are normally made. Just a suggesstion.
You really should add a section on failsafes as well if you're posting an Instructable on any sort of quadcopter.
This is *not* a long range drone, it's a standard drone in every sense. See my comment above if you want to learn about actual long distance drones. With this setup you might get about 20 minutes of flight time, but you're not going to get much more than 1km out of the transmitter (if even that).
There's already a name for this drone, he didn't invent it. It's a modified TBS Discovery.
The author is probably right about the flight time, however you're not going to get much more than 1km out of that transmitter. You'd need a long range R/C link to go farther.
Uh this really isn't a long range quad, this is a standard range quad. If anyone came here hoping to find info on how to build a long range FPV quad, here's what to look into:- Either the TBS Crossfire or the Immersion RC EZUHF long range R/C link.- 2.4GHz video transmitters, receivers, and antennas (MUST be using a UHF system of some sort, if you try to use this with a standard 2.4GHz R/C transmitter you're going to have a very bad day).- A more efficient set of motors, like the TBS 400kv LR Motors. - Much longer arms and 15x6.5" props.- Most likely a 6s system, but definitely above a 3s.

I thought that's the direction you were heading in when you created different ball return channels for each cup. Adding either an optical sensor or momentary switch in each return, then routing them into an arduino (or even just an ATmega328 with Optiboot) would be a super simple and efficient way to track scoring. Then with any of the great display libraries available for Arduino (seven segment, LCD if you want to get really fancy) you could add a display above the game that showed the current score. Then all you'd need is a reset button down by end of the ball return to start the game over.
