  • How to DIY an in House Weather-telling Cloud

Where your instructions state: "1. Download the Arduino code from GitHub", the link is dead. Where can I get the "Smart_Decorative_Cloud" file please? Thanks!!

I am only slightly familiar with using Arduino codes. This project has me confused. I have my Respeaker connected to my computer and in the Arduino program it recognizes it as an Arduino Leonardo, but I have no idea how to use the code shown in "image 1" or "image 2". Is that somewhere in an Arduino code for this thing. I downloaded the file: "Respeaker_Arduino_Library_Master", but there isn't any code specifically for the respeaker in there except the "Examples" library. Basically I don't understand anything in the Step 2 section after it states: "Connect 7688". What is this "screen /dev/xxx 57600" and where does it fit into whatever Arduino code we are supposed to use?

So far so good. The Autodesk Circuits won't open on my Mac, so I had to run to an old windows computer to get it open so I could copy the code and paste it into the Arduino program.

I have both. I downloaded the file from above, and I went into the Arduino program and by using "manage libraries" I downloaded the Adafruit ST7735 library.

Ok, Thanks for the tip. I did get the libraries installed, but now I get totally different errors. There are a lot mentioning things like: "_cs' was not declared in this scope". There are many more errors stating the same thing, but mentioning other things like "_rs was not declared in this scope" and "sid", "sclk", "scpinmask", "csport" and so on...It's kinda driving me crazy. Perhaps I have too many files included, or maybe missing some???When I have the Arduino open, I have the following tabs at the top of the code included:WeatherForecast_F, Adafruit_GFX.cpp, Adafruit_GFX.h, Adafruit_ST7735.cpp, Adafruit_ST7735.h, ArduinoJson.h, gfxfont.h, and icons.cI am guessing that something is either missing or I've got too much stuff ...see more »Ok, Thanks for the tip. I'm not very "up-to-speed" with Arduino, but I am trying to learn. I've tried to compile this code and when I click on the "Verify" button I get an error message. Can someone tell men what is wrong? It seems to indicate that there is no "file included called "adafruit_ST7735" but I've copied it and included it in the Arduino file for the board. Thanks much ahead of time. Here is the resulting error message copied from the Arduino programmer:Arduino: 1.6.13 (Mac OS X), Board: "WeMos D1 R2 & mini, 80 MHz, 115200, 4M (3M SPIFFS)"/Users/StevenandJoy/Desktop/Arduino/WeatherForecast_F/WeatherForecast_F.ino:9:29: fatal error: Adafruit_ST7735.h: No such file or directory#include <Adafruit_ST7735.h>^compilation terminated.exit status 1Error c...see more »I'm not very "up-to-speed" with Arduino, but I am trying to learn. That is hilarious! I'll bet that can be done with those talking toy parrots I've seen at Cracker Barrel!

    ESP8266 Weather Widget

Nevermind, I found out that for "Country" I need to enter the Two Letter State code, for example CA for California, then enter the city name.I'd still like to know if it's possible to get my personal weather reporting station on wunderground to report to my weather widget?

I just got my board running, but I have a problem! I see the local time just fine but for the temperature and other bit of weather info I only get "N/A". Anyone know why this is happening? I am using an API I got some time ago to use with my Pebble watch, but no longer have the watch. Do I need to apply for a new API?One other thing, I actually have my own weather reporting station which is displayed on Wunderground's website, is there a way I can get my OLED/ESP8266 weather widget to display my own weather station information? Thanks everyone.(I do not have much skills in the way of coding, so don't give me advice that's too complex- Thanks again!!)
