I haven't used laundry soap in years. I use dish soap.It is better at breaking up the body oils that are in dirty clothes. I also add about 1/2 cup of vinegar to all my loads of wash. Clothes always come out cleaner and brighter. And you save money by buying only one type of soap. Dish soap is cheaper than laundry soap. I use only a good hard squeeze of the dish soap.
Nothing I have heard of. My wife is Filipina and we use day old cooked rice for stir fried rice. And before I met her I used an ice cube for reheating rice. It adds the correct amount of water to reheat it for steamed rice.
