How NOT to build a Stirling Engine
Although it didn't run, I like it! I think the Stirling engine is one of the most beautiful engine concepts. I have one similar to yours made from a kit. Mine however runs using two candles. Might this be your problem? Maybe the hot water doesn't give off enough heat? If you try the candles make sure your displacer is in the upper position in order to prevent it from burning. Good luck!
