Lesson 4: Drawing in 3D
Light and Shadow
This will take some practice =)The hexagonal connector was quite tricky to draw in 3D. Enlarging and first drawing a bounding circle around helped a lot as "A circle [or hexagon] will hit the construction lines at the same points in 3D as they will in 2D."
In addition to the battery I wanted to find something with simple geometry but still an interesting shape. So took out this (broken) laundry grid holder I need to make a replacement for. Anyways, great class! I'm learning good stuff and getting down to practicing my skills.

Very nice mallet! Just to thoughts - shouldn't it be possible to buy a plastic cylinder that size to avoid all the glueing? Shouldn't be much more expensive.I'm also wondering about the toxicity of the super glue and epoxy at the handle. Perhaps best to seal the handle with something else.

Ping JON-A-TRON, would it be possible to share a more precise schematic of the circuit? It seems fgarma would be willing to have a look to optimize the design.
Thank for quick response. Ping JON-A-TRON, would it be possible to share a more precise schematic of the circuit? To me it would also make sense to add a LED driver between the battery and the LED to ensure correct current.
Was there any resolution to this? Was there a better battery configuration?
Glowing LED Mushroom Log Lamp
Very nice instructable and work on making it easy for us to build one. What are the orange/warm yellow LEDs you used? What specs do I need to follow if I want to choose my own LEDS (dimensions, voltage etc.)?

I use something similar whenever I have a banana fly infestation. Just change the mix to water with a little bit of apple cider vinegar, honey and a drop of dish washing detergent. The vinegar and honey attracts the flies but due to the soap (no surface tension anymore) they will be drawn into the water and drown. Quite effective.
Very nice projekt, works well for me. I had some trouble with the arduino code. Even though arduino should do this by itself I needed to declare the drawMenu() function at the start of the code (after global variables). I will try to make the game a little more modern with variable angle depending on where you hit on the pad etc.
