Thanks! I think it's a good idea to cover it because it does get dusty too and the mirrored surface is hard to clean. Maybe build a plexiglass box to give it some depth to cover the clockworks.

Gloves are a good idea; I find that the fingerprints are a pain to clean off.

Great project, but if you're really wondering what Carolina Shoe is going to do with this, I think it's obvious: it will give them a 'leg up' on the competition!

I just hope the venue we used budgeted for all that toilet paper! Luckily the photographer got a picture of the VW before the mayhem or this would be a very different Instructable.
