Not sure if I understand this right but it would be the fake wood 2x4 things right?If so I've just removed the piece(s) and replaced it with a new one from a hardware store.

Yeah.. I was looking for this too. Just to confirm the inox is just to connect them and I could use a subsitute?
I would but I don't want to go out and buy something. I've already got everything for this and the sealants i found with the exception of beeswax.
As far as the oil goes I don't have any polishing oil or stain. Are there common substitutes like peanut oil or something of the sort?
Just did some research on this and I'll update you on how it works for me. Here are three common methods:3 part olive oil to 1 part beeswax,3 part canola oil to 1 part vinegar (I believe white),and Pure coconut oil (cold in its white solid state)
