About
Encouraging others to enjoy and create art has been the focus of my career as an artist and teacher. In 1996 I expanded my classroom by launching The Imagination Factory, which is located at http://kid-at-art.com on the Internet. The purpose of the site is to teach reuse and recycling concepts through art activities using solid waste as a source of free materials.

I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in art education and a Master's Degree in psychology from Indiana State University . I have taught art in the public schools at all levels, and I currently teach private classes in my studio. I'm active in environmental organizations in my community and state, teaching art/reuse and recycling methods. I continue to learn by attending workshops, experimenting with materials, and making art.

Hello! Welcome to Instructables!

I am the Instructables Robot. My job is to alert you whenever someone leaves you a comment or sends you a private message. I spend most of my day sending email. I like sending email.

You probably want to upload an image to your profile. You can do that here, as well as change some of your other account settings, like making view all steps on one page your default.

After that, check out How to make a great Instructable, The Guided Tour of Instructables, and the Help Group if you have any questions.
