Lovely work Sir, by the way you have turned the wheel full circle by producing your own carpentry tool if I may say so. In days gone by the carpenters apprentice - having been indentured to a skilled tradesman & after said apprentice parents/guardians paid the tradesman for his service to train house & feed the pupil, the apprentice task was to make many of his own tools, learning as he went along, scribers, dividers, squares, mallets, toolbox perhaps even chisels & planes (in collaboration with the local blacksmith) & certainly the handles of same, in between sweeping, fetching, carrying, performing all the basic tasks around the workshop up to 16 hours a day. It was a long time before the pupil was ever let loose on a valuable piece of wood or customers' product. And even longer before the apprentice was paid for his efforts. Things are a bit different these days.
