I can understand why you cant see it, as it is a work in progress and for next spring I hope to have a new improved electronic part ready.At the moment the electronics measures the following:- Water level in Tank- Moist level in Earth around the plants. - Air Humidity and TempFurthermore there is an SD module that captures the data and plots them in a TXT file. this can be used to plot a Graf in excel or similar.It also have a display that can show the data and can be controlled by two buttons. The electronics also controlles 3 water pumps that all are controlled accordingly to all the collected data :DI hope this explains it somewhat :D

Cool! otherwise I have some experience with 18650 batteris, and a simple TP4056 and a single cell would give you hours of function I believe. Hope you can use it! :-)
Great and simple idea! How big is the battery? My thought is that if a you made a battery upgrade the lamp could recharge over more time like the weekends to make sure the lamp could run for more than what you need. Also to be ready for the days where there might not be sun in longer periods?
Hi! super nice code brah! I have been working a bit with it, but i can't figure out to make a delay in the refreshing time so the curve is adding a bar for each minute and not each cycle.I have added a RTC to also add the time. my idea is to have the time displayed at top and the temp and humi at the bottom. if i just add an delay the time will only update every minute and i want seconds on my clock. :-)Could you help me? or come with and idea?

Wow! thank your for your kind words, and a wonderful story! I find it very important to combine knowledge with fun in any direction. Even though I have a lot of projects home at the workshop I also enjoy to try new and exiting activities. some like this catches on and others is just fun to try out. Many of them leads to new projects as well ;-)At some point I will do a project on making a underwater hunting boat, with all the necessary equipment and storage ;-)
Thanks! this was a slow run as any fisherman would say.. we got 10 fish but i have had runs with up to almost 30. it's nice to keep in the freezer for winter.

Hi Babybayrs.It's a Styrofoam box with watering/growing channels inside. The picture show the channels with dirt. on top there is a bag of fertilized dirt. i believe there is 40 Liters of dirt in it. You poke holes above the channels and stuff the dirt down there. Then you plant you Tomato plant or Cucumber. The Styrofoam box can hold up til 40/50 liters of water and then it is more or less self-watering. all you need to do is to refill the box or water the plants. the excess water will flow through the dirt and collect in the box to ensure the plant doesn't overflow.

Thanks! I will probably end up making 2 versions. One version with all the features it has at the moment, and one simple version only for watering and no moist sensors and no SD card. This will probably also make it possible to only use an Arduino Uno or maybe even a nano :-)
