    The total cost for the materials, not tools, is about $42 - that is assuming that you have zero items at your disposal. Glue is about $5. If you have some glue at home, you have already saved the $5, since you need so little of it. Below I have included a list of where you can find the products and how much each one costs.     Thanks very much! You can get a white display at from Adafruit.com. The size that fits the faceplate is 23mm x 75mm. You can also get colored backlight modules from OrientLCD.com. They are larger at 71.2mm x 48.5mm.
