Realistic Halloween Devil Horns
BRANCHBOARDING / TREE OF MOTION
Thanks, that's something to look into!
No problem! I'm glad you enjoyed reading it.
Circular Gallifreyan Rings
Mostly the cutlery I use is a silver mix, rather than plated. But I HAVE used really old silver plated things a couple times, and as far as I remember, the plating was fine. Might not be the best pieces to use, but they should work!
I use whatever I can find. I haven't had a problem with plating coming off, at all! I think most of the pieces I use are more silver mixed with other metals, rather than plated, though.
I don't know what that means, so I'm gonna say no. Hah.
You're welcome, thanks for reading!
You should! It's a lot of fun, with a cook payoff
Awesome, no problem! It's not really that difficult once you get the hang of it. I'd suggest using whichever is your least favourite to start with, my first few weren't very good haha.
Oh neat! My mom had one from the 70s that she gave me as a teenager, which is where I got the idea.
I usually find mine at antique stores and yard sales!

Thanks! The clamp I used is a pretty standard table clamp, which you can find at any store that sells tools. I'd suggest trying to find one second hand though, as they're fairly sturdy and can be expensive. Let me know how it goes!
Nifty Tool Bag
Thanks! Honestly if you can't find/afford a ring mandrel, a vaguely finger sized, thick steel pipe works fine. You can always change the sizing with your table clamp! And as for the leather hammer, an unweighted rubber mallet works fine. That's basically what I've been using, but after about 30 or so rings the rubber (plastic?) on the striking surface started to chip off and make divots, hence the leather. Good luck on your projects!

Thanks! I use a mixture of both, basically whatever neat looking silverware I can find. I get most of my cutlery from antique stores and yard sales.
