That sounds good! The nice thing about this recipe is that you can vary it to suit your own taste. I'm lactose intolerant (hence the lactose free milk in the photo) so I generally avoid sour cream, but I can imagine that adding sour cream, and premixing the powder with the milk and butter would give it a creamier texture and nice flavour.

It is hard to visualize the boxed bottom which is Trick #2 - you have to actually do it to see how it works. It should work! Hope you have fun with this bag!
Fold-up Felt Bag
Light-Up 3D Paper Snowflake
It looks like you folded your paper into quarters, rather than sixths. Once the square is folded into sixths, you need to trim the edge so it ends up like a circle, as described in Step 2. It should look like a wedge or a piece of pie. Then study the photos in Step 3 before you cut anything out. You might want to try to more or less copy the cut out that I did in Step 3 for your first snowflake and once you have succeeded, you can try your own designs. Good luck!

Thanks - so glad you liked it! The beaded flower version took about 2 days to make (as opposed to about 2 hours for the felt version).

Thanks for the feedback! I hope you can try it out!
I hope you enjoy it! It works well with many different fruits and berries. If using a very tart berry like cranberries, I would mix it with another berry or fruit (e.g. apples). Bon appetit!

It's easy to make these sun prints, but I agree that you really do need a sunny, not too windy day. I have tried it on partially cloudy days which ended up being cloudy, and the images were not as sharp.May you have sunny days!
It's true that you have to get over the urge to laugh in order to focus on drinking the water and curing the hiccups, and spectators are at risk of laughing fits! It really works though, so I do encourage you to try it!
Thank you! I am glad that you found it to be helpful.
Thanks. I do find it more comfortable than the commercially-bought sleep masks. I hope you try it and like it!

Thanks for your encouragement. I did read the Kiteman post and links - very helpful!
It seems like a great idea, but it's somewhat unclear to me what happens to the green onions when they are sitting in the water. Do they reproduce so that you have more green onions? Or does the original bunch of onions just stay fresh, so that if you only use one onion a week, you can keep the bunch for months?
I posted an instructable called How to Make a Paper Funnel. After I posted it, I did a search and discovered that in 2012, someone else posted an instructable with exactly the same name! I'm wondering if this is the reason that my instructablle was not featured - it makes sense to try to avoid repetition - although I think my instructablle has clearer steps and is easier to follow. I've since re-named my instructable "Easy Paper Funnel" and you can find it here:https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-a-Pape...I would be interested in any suggestions on how to improve it, or comments on how original an idea has to be in order to be featured. (Interestingly, the 2012 funnel instructable does not appear to have been featured either). Many thanks!YukonJulie
I posted what I thought was one of my best instructables - how to make a lace earring holder - and it has not been featured. Any suggestions to improve it? I'm wondering if the problem is that it's white lace on a white wall, so perhaps the main photo doesn't show up enough? Any other ideas? Thanks!https://www.instructables.com/id/Lace-Earring-Holder/
Thanks! This is very helpful and I will revise the instructable to incorporate your suggestions.Julie
