Thanks a lot for sharing. I have decided to use the same concept and do a fixed concrete pantry table. What I am planning to do differently is using the waste outer planks of lumber (sorry I do not know the proper English term) and suspend on a 1/8" square wire mesh (wire mesh will be the reinforcement) before pouring the concrete. Then use some graphite flakes and silver or gold dust in concrete mixture and garnish with some titanium oxide/ferrous oxide powder to give it more graphite like look. Further I will finish the top with PU as you describe or with PE resin but will add some glittering silver dust in to the mix. Hope all this will work and sure will post an instructable once done. All this is inspired by your project and thank you so much :-)
Nice job! I was thinking of something like this. I do not have any experience in drying food. I was wondering, do you think it would help if you add a humidity controlling mechanism inside the dryer?
