I'm glad to know that you did the project (:I have a couple of things that you might check:1 - it may be an issue with the panel itself: the backlight leds may be damaged, for instance2 - the power source: make sure you are using the power source as specified3 - the controller board may be damagedIt doesn't look like to me that it's a problem with the firware, I think the (2) is most likelyHope it helps!
