I am searching into geting started purchasing silver (perhaps gold when I can afford it.) So I appeared online and the shipping was going to kill the offer unless of course I was purchasing much more than 1 at a time. I discovered a local coin shop near Dallas and I stopped by yesterday (Oct 13, 2009) The spot cost of gold was correct about $18 and he had Silver Eagles for $23 and what he known as Silver Rounds for $18.75.
