  • Newbies guide to Installing and configuring Octoprint on a Raspberry pi for 3D printing

    Just wanted to update everyone on this, if you are exclusively using wifi (like I am), you can bypass having to connect a keyboard and monitor to your raspberry pi altogether. After the step of burning the image to an SD card using the Image Writer, go to your SD card folder and look for a text file called something like "octaprint-network.txt". In there you can set your wifi SSID and password, save the file then Octaprint will directly connect to your wifi automagically. Follow the rest of the instructions afterward, no need to connect ethernet or a whole computer :)
