Bike Fender Part 3: Integrating Hardware
Design with Hand Sketching
I printed a jointed robot I found on Thingiverse.com: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:555242It was complex and quite difficult to assemble. I want to create my own design that is inspired by hers, but is simpler to assemble.
I use a rice cooker with a glass jar and lid inside it to contain the acetone, and I only use it outside. It is such an aweful smell! I think I will try making that Instructable you linked here also. Thanks!
Printed it a couple of time to get it right. My printer sometimes "jumps" so that the top half of the body is off center by as much as a quarter inch. Not sure why it does that...any ideas. Anyway here is the finished product.
Bottle Lock Part 3: 3D Printing with Support Structures
Intro to 3D Modeling
Thanks, that worked to remove it.
Bottle Lock Part 2: Mechanical Assembly
I managed to get it animated to show the opening. I have a "stray" part in the background that I am not sure how to remove, but it is not attached, so I don't have to print it.
Bottle Lock Part 1: Base Model
I am getting to know Autodesk and really enjoying it.
