I made a clock instead of a knife block. I still had to use the router for the edges, the planing and the hole in the back for the mechanism.
Making Perfectly Straight Cuts
Hey, here are my salad servers. I want to finish them with Linseed Oil but can't find it here in Thailand. I made them out of an old pallet. (Took it apart, planed it down, cut, then shaped.) I learned lots on the way!
Just finished mine! Still have to sand and stain though. I haven't had a chance to pick up some stain.
Hey all, I didn't make house numbers because I don't have a house to put them on. Instead, I'm working on a table for my BBQ. I cut pieces of scrap lumber, planed them, and then glued them together. Still have to finish it with some sort of clear coat.

Just finished my die. The cutting went well but I was thinking a saw guide of some sort would be useful. (I wonder how to make one?) I didn't have a square so used a measuring tape. Going to the store to get one this week. Also, I didn't have a rasp so used a file and sandpaper. Therefore, it took much longer and ended up rougher.
