About I'm a computer technician with a background in electronics. I live in St. Augustine, FL. I've been a computer guy since around 1984, when my dad brought home our first PC. I've been a professional for around 15 years. I'm married. We have a daughter who's young enough to still think I'm cool.
I love technology of all kinds. I consider ANYTHING made by humans technology. A stone axe is just as interesting to me as the Mars rovers. History is a treasure trove of knowledge we can draw upon to improve the future. Its foolish to think that we have any original ideas that aren't based on our collective ancestral database.
I love to explore and find out about things. Lately, I've been most interested in 1970's and 1980's electronics projects. Anything prior to that usually deals with voltages and current levels I'm not comfortable fiddling with yet.
