P.S. If you have a one motor circuit bread boarded you might want to try using a 9V regulator. Before I discovered that a 5V supply was to low for Cmos chips I had a one motor board wired up and it worked so well that I, point to point wired a three motor board. Just to relax a little I hooked up the one motor and got all kinds of erratic motor movement. After five hours of careful checking/double checking wiring, chip replacement and voltage I threw in the towel and designed a "all 74LSXX" series controller. If you are interested I can email you PDF files for a 4510 circuit - a 74LSXX 4 line - a 74LSXX eight line suitable for 1/2 step sequencing. Bread boarded one motor circuit of both 74LSXX schematics but not the 4510, although I am confident it would work. Both 74LSXX schematics are set up for programmable sequencing and work on my KP4M4 motors. Stick with playing around with electronics, Bread boarding has taught me all I know about electronics and it has been a fun trip. Dale Lang Dale633@yahoo.com
