Thank you . Enjoy making things work that dont , anything i can think of to make that doesnt work good i like to make it better. I m really proud of my mantis weedeater. I get upset when i dont get alot of views lol.How can i get more people to look at them? Ihave a few more ideas for instructables coming up soon so keep a eye out for me k .Thanks for the compliment. I've seen a couple of your projects now, Coolbeans, and I've asked my husband of he'd watch them and see if he could do one or two of them for our hobby farm. He belongs to a 'Man-club' that meets every Wed. evening in some guy's wood shop - he'll probably bring the Instructibles up, there, too!

Hi, I got most of my hits from being featured in the newsletter and external sites (e.g. lifehacker.com or blog.craftzine.com, their authors seem to read instructables...). For my last three instructables I thought about what people might be interested in. Apparently it's not only about quality, I think my first instructable is the best one, still it has less hits then the last three.
I'm sorry, I'm not a big help, because I've never advertised mine. But I can totally understand you I love to see my hit counter rising ;-).

Yeah i just get a kick out of making something useful that will save someone money or just a cool idea that works that pops into your head. My mini bike i made out of a kids chopper bike was really special to me . I remember telling my father that i was going to do it . And he said it will never work ....Well thats all i had to hear lol .I made 2 i had so much fun with it . And ya know there so reliable . They both have about 60 miles on them putting around the backroads at all hours of the night. lol So maybe i should send my projects to life hacker ?? ttys Jim

I don't know whether they would react, I never sent mine there, they wrote a short text about them (I didn't do anything). Like I said, I'm not a big help, sorry...

Is it possible to find out in your stats who are the people that are looking at your instructables? It only shows within instructables, search engines but doesnt say which ones , and other ?

If i wanted to add something to my existing instructable . Say i improved on a instructable . Do i just add pictures to it and then republish it or can i collaborate with just myself ?
