I would recommend newark.com or jameco.com. They will have a variety of LED's and their datasheets. I image getting a powerful LED and shipping would be around $10. But some headlamps are sold for a similar price nowdays.
Hi, Im glad you like this, Originally I did not post the 3d model of my housing because i wanted people to learn a CADD software and design their own but If you really want them, Ill post some STL's for you. It is also worth mentioning that the power board i had on here, which i believe was the 500C was barely able to power the unit. It would on occasion go to protection mode randomlly that would cut power to the unit on start up. So look for the more capable powerboost 1000 or equivalent. I will post the STL's for my housing in a day or two as its kind of busy around the holidays right now.
It was usually able to go 3 or 4 hours before getting dimmer. I believe the battery could last much longer but the LED was just getting too hot. This was a very basic circuit that i wouldnt recommend for long term use. But it was a fun project with minimal electronics knowledge.
Correct. That's what she means
In Solidworks, there is a Save As option, and from there, I can choose from a lot of different file types. .STL is one of the options. Thanks for the vote.
Thanks. It was a good project
Thank you. I appreciate the vote.
Thanks, it wasn't too difficult of a project but I really like how it turned out.
