In the code you can manually calibrate the servos changing the "TRIM" values. It can be also a hardware problem many servos even from the same vendor come with different tolerances

Yes we have that problem too and that is why we haven't officially launched Otto DIY + the bluetooth version, now somehow i the comments in hackster you can see some Ottobuilders did it, it seems BT modules from different suppliers can work in different baudrates so they are tricky

Oh yes that is because smooth criminal only use the oscillator library that is for dance. Yes better use "avoid" moves which can make same dances and even more thing like sounds and gestures, list here: https://github.com/OttoDIY/OttoDIY/blob/master/Moves, better try to copy the smooth dance to avoid which use Otto libraries
Without the shield should be the same pins 0 and 1 make sure to also power the module with 5V or 3.3V and gnd, BT will be added to Otto DIY + which we will make a full instructable soon https://www.hackster.io/ottoplus/otto-diy-33406c?team=30287

You mean the black plug for the extra power supply? yes you can take it out, is not really useful unless you want to use an external 9v adapter.USB is only for programming and power not charging unfortunatelly.

Hi Tampano yes check your software version and aldo inside the model some components are group you can ungroup them after select with ctrl+shift+g
Hi Tampano, i found out that micro servos comes with different hub sizes depending of of the supplier, so maybe your is slightly bigger you can either open it a little bit with a knife and then with some preassure might enter or in 123D software you can use the pull option to make it bigger or use the sketches of the star hole, scale it, and extrude to cut the material.
Noooo do not surrender so quickl,y try to reprogram , if not maybe is your Arduino :s
Craig it happens to me when is not plug it correctly or USB port is broken, do not think is power issue because USB is actually the best source of power for Arduino.
The extruded pin in the other side that is a semisphere goes into the leg not into the servo. The servos in step 5 of the instruction manual is fixed with the screw to the leg so wont have misalignment.

Hi Craig depends of the code you uploaded if you use the OTTO_smooth_criminal.ino should start to move and dance. I just update the wiring based on your request hope is more clear now :)

Thanks yes is possible adding a bluetooth module and using Zowi app for now, we want to create our own app so can be open source to add more games and features

Hi PauloUnderstand So instead of scale use Press Pull (P) feature, is a little tricky at the beginning because you need to select the right surfaces and pull in the right direction to make things bigger or smaller, for move holes you can use Tweak (K) feature. Still the software is limited for modifications sometimes so that's why we will make a parametric version in Autodesk Fusion 360.App inventor :) cool we are also starting to make one, have you try the Zowi app, we want to create an Otto version one send me an email a lets create it together
Hi PauloFirst you need installed 123D Design software, then in the case you want to modify Otto components are divided by each part that is being printed, you can scale the whole part, or other option is to pull or push the surfaces of each part.Give a try and tell me if works for you
