If you want your sugar crystals to have color and flavor, then you will add food coloring and oil flavoring. If you don't, then move on to step 7. Good luck. Thanks for your comment.
I bought one once and I didn't like using it, because it's metal and it slid right out of my hands too easily. I got rid of it. The bobbins looked like regular old bobbins. There are 3 or 4 different sizes out there and you wouldn't know with out a side by side comparison. Sorry, I couldn't be more help. Thanks for asking.
Your afghan is beautiful. If you can crochet with a size 12 thread then you should have no trouble tatting with the size 12 thread. Size 12 is smaller than size10. Thread is like wire, in that the larger the number the smaller the tread. Size 10 is larger but not that much, so you should be fine. Good luck, and thanks for commenting.
I am so excited for you! This was one of my first Instructables, back in 2011. Glad I was able to help you our. Thanks for letting me know of your success. Have a great life, and thanks for letting me know.
Welcome, thanks for commenting.
It would take several days in a very dry environment before the topping would go really hard. It was moist and gooey. Thanks for asking.
It's lemonade. Drink it when ever you want. I like it a lot.
It is really simple physics. To have something balance, you need to have the center of gravity of the object directly over the foot the object is standing on. That is how you stand up right and that is how this works. Have a good day.
I did use a regular size 2 liter bottle. Use what ever you want to make this work for you. It really won't make any difference. Thanks for asking and commenting.
It is just lemonade, made hot. so yes you can drink it fun too. I will really warm you up during the winter months. Enjoy and thanks for asking.
Hi! I really don't think the width of the board will make any difference. The angle on the bottom should be the same. The secret of making this work is making sure the center of gravity of the bottle is directly over the foot that touches the table. Thanks for asking.
The 66 chains goes from top to bottom, then bottom to top as you turn you project. So when you read the pattern you start in the upper left hand corner follow it down to the bottom the first row of the first letter and then turn, and start the next row from the bottom of the same letter. Repeat until the first letter is done. Add 2 rows of holes for spacing and start the second letter, making sure the top of the second letter is on the same side as the top of the first letter. To make a longer name, write out your pattern and start with the first letter, and work your way though until you are done with the name, done letter at a time. I always add 5 empty squares on top of each row and 5 more empty square at the bottom of each row. A size 7 metal crochet hook is 1.5mm. It has no letter. It is pretty small, the smallest being a 00 or 0.5mm. Hope this helps.
It is BEAUTIFUL! So proud of you adjusting it to fit your need! I corrected the problem with duplication. Thanks for pointing that out. Thanks for sharing.
If they are far enough apart you get two separate sticks. Mine weren't far enough apart so it turned into a large crystal cluster with 2 sticks, sticking out of it. Didn't stop my kids from eating it. How much of the stick is in the solution has a lot to do with how many crystals of size are formed, although if you don't have seed crystals you won't grow crystals. So they both are important to the process. Thanks for asking.
Also, FYI: I personally have no info about you other than your screen name.
What did I promise? I have searched this whole web sight for something were you asked and I promised, and I can't find it, also please back it up with documentation, so that this old women will completely understand. Wait for your reply.
I had a feeling, but I wasn't sure. Sorry, you will have to invest in a can of clear sealer. Go to a home supply store, it is cheaper than craft stores. Better luck next time.
Basic Turkey Brine
As long as you have a total length of about 18 yards you should be okay. Give it a go, and see how it works. Good luck and thanks for commenting.
Sounds like an experiment to me. You want to paper with the picture to go translucent, and I am not sure that modpodge will cause that to happen. You really want the light to glow through the picture. So try it, if it works, then post it, even write an up date Instructable about my Instructable. If not, it should remove easy from the glass, so you haven't ruined anything. Good luck.
Grea,t you read it through. Thanks for sharing. :)
You are right, thanks for commenting.

I have never used the rolls of mesh. I would prefer to cut them 2" wide without having to unroll and cut. I am not sure if there is a way to cut all the way through the layers while still on the roll. Other wise I would unroll it onto layers on my cutting board and then use my quilting ruler/rotery cutter, to cut the 2 inch wide strips. Sounds like an experiment to me. Thanks for asking.
I love Amigurumi! She is beautiful!
I published this in Nov. of 2012. Links change and this one is no longer available as easy as it was and now they charge for it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hope you have success with what you found, and thanks for commenting.
Thanks for the info and thanks for sharing.
Can you post a picture here so that I can see what is happening. I will watch for your picture. Filet crochet is like counted cross stitch, You need to keep track of where you are in your pattern and keep your counting in place. You may need to pull out a couple of rows to the place where your problem started and correct your mistake. Also practice helps a lot. I have made over 100 of these and I still make mistakes and have to go back to where the mistake is and correct it. Hope this helps/
This recipe has sugar in the simple syrup. As you know, diabetics should control how much sugar (glucose) they take into their systems. You are the one who has to make the decision on that because you are the one who has to live with the consequences. You can make a more diabetic friendly version by adding Stevia or xylatol, etc. in stead of sugar to your hot lemon water to make hot lemonade. Neither of these will spike your blood sugar. My grandmother drank a cup of hot lemon water (no sweetener at all) every morning of her adult life. That is another alternative. Thanks for asking.
Congratulation on finding a solution to your challenge. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for commenting! Have a great week.
Did you let the seed crystals dry before adding to the syrup? Did you use a plastic stick instead of a wood stick? I don't know what to tell you. I have never had that problem. You could try hanging a seeded thick cotton string in the syrup from a pencil with a weight on the end. Usually the wood is just rough enough to get the crystals to cling to it. The same with the cotton string. Keep trying. Thanks for asking.
Sounds like a great idea. Thanks for commenting and good luck.
It's free as long as you are willing to go from page to page and ignor (or not) the advertising. I have private messaged you. Thanks for leaving a comment.
Cool. Sound like an experiment to me. Thanks for sharing.
