Good work! I have always wanted to try this to develop a "flavor library" to experiment with...if I had more time and money. I also noticed the smoking gun in the pic with the whipper! It could be cool to see if you post something with that as the star of another instructable.

I like the time you took to make your own chandelier and the look of it is very nice! Good work. I saw that you said the wire rope with a single point made it easy to level but how do you think chain would work?

You're right...I forgot to mention that part. Sorry for the confusion. All I did was let the block of ice in the cooler thaw for a couple minutes and it slides right out. It is quite a large block and needless to say very slippery so it may be beneficial to have someone help you guide it.

True, however it wont be as clear. I've tried. Unless you boil DI water, lol.

The pic doesn’t do it too much justice but I used a L298 h-bridge with an ext PS to drive an old printer carriage DC Motor.

I made this with a little more demerara and less white sugar and it was awesome! I also substituted Mexican vanilla since legit vanilla beans are quite expensive nowadays. Great Instructable!!

Nice work and very simple. Have you compared yours to Domaine de Canton? If so, how close is the flavor?

I just finished the class and couldn't wait to try this recipe. I have always enjoyed the culinary arts and while not classically trained, I've read numerous books and watched many a cooking show. However, I never really wanted to pursue baking until I saw and took this class. I think the layout of the class was very well executed. Many can follow a recipe, but to know why and how the ingredients come together is what I liked the most. Thank you, and I'll keep an eye out on Instructables for more baking recipes!

I just started one for the moment but plan to make the other four soon. I made the numbers with a counter sink because I loved the end grain and didn't want to paint over it. I then finished with some paste wax.

Great instructable and very informative! I was wondering if you tried a side by side using the exact same ingredients in the exact same quantity but using the whipper and the usual ~1 month steep time? If so, what were (if any) changes in flavor?
