I have realized that you did not receive a greeting from ewilhelm (Eric) or the Instructables Robot, so here you go!

take three peices of tape and form wings that appear on rockets and put them on the red rods

it is also important to wrap the end of the rod w/ tape directly behind the fins to allow for a better fit in the barrel since K'NEX rods are slightly smaller that the barrel hole this is critical for a straight shot to occur
