About
Like me on Facebook, my poor, fragile ego needs a boost! I post updates about my current projects, and the occasional sneak peak at upcoming instructables! ======================= depotdevoid is short for The Depot Devoid of Thought, the place where you go when you lose your train of thought and you're waiting for the next thought train to pick you up. The depot represents a fairly high level of absent mindedness and ease of being distracted, as well as a love of seeing what will pique my interest next, and where that idea will take me. ======================= I am a ball bearing salesman by day and a mad scientist by night (and on the weekends). I love making and learning about all sorts of things, and while I'll never be the best at any one thing, I am reasonably competent in many areas. ======================= I hope you enjoy my instructables, please take a moment to subscribe!

Yea, we just went down to the coast this weekend. It was sunny the first two days, but then it rained all the next day. We couldn't even go out on the beach that day. If you're ever down by Depoe Bay look for a store called the What-Not-Shop.It's a great surplus store & the owner is very nice. I found this awesome Star Trek badge there.

Hi there! Thanks for subscribing to me. Bearings are cool!!!

I build robots and have dabbled in animatronics. My brother and I used to create haunted houses. I also have done some prosthetic makeup for theatre.

Anyway, it's great to have a community of people doing strange and wonderful things.

Cheers

I got it, I got it! Just opened the box and everything looks intact. I put the batteries in one to make sure it worked and all was well, so I am taking it on faith that the other one works too. I will play with them tonight. I'm not sure if I can call you, as instructed, because my long distance may be disconnected, but I'll try.

Hello! Welcome to Instructables!

I am the Instructables Robot. My job is to alert you whenever someone leaves you a comment or sends you a private message. I spend most of my day sending email. I like sending email.

After that, check out How to make a great Instructable, The Guided Tour of Instructables, and the Help Group if you have any questions.
