Seven Pro Tips for ESP8266
This is really a wonderful summary of several things I have always wondered about ESP8266. I was wondering if you had any tips for door security where the ESP and accelerometer can be mounted on a door to tell you when someone knocks and opens the door. The accelerometer would have to be constantly powered so maybe a small solar panel and Lithium would be a good infinite power source? What do you think? Thanks!
I have ESP8266 board and really want to setup a door trip system to tell me when door was opened. I have not had any success yet though. Do you have any tips or tutorials that could help me?
Wow thanks, deep sleep is very interesting and sounds prefect for my application. I know some new home security devices in stores can run for over a year on just 2xAA batt so hopefully I can get similar results. Thanks.
There is a $12 Dremel attachment that can turn it into a router. It holds it level and you can adjust the height. I think it was Dremel 565.

Love the inside video of the bucket. Very nice instructable.
Love the inside video of the bucket. Very nice instructable. I made one of these with a Home Depot bucket to drain water from clogged sink. I had my home carpet vacuum and did not want to buy a shop vac so bought the bucket and attached a 3/4" tube and small hole on top for my vac hose. One issue was with such a small tube the bucket tended to collapse so had to tweak it some, but it got the job done for less than $5.

Great Instructable, very clear and detailed! Also thank you for the excel sheet of parts. I have been shopping for motor/esc/battery for an electric bike project and this helps a lot. Thanks.
Nice Instructable, very detailed and the video well made. But I think it would be good to highlight these key specs as people will be curious.Wheel $375 : 1500 watt 26" with 30amp controllerBattery $436 : 52v Panasonic 11.5ah Bottle Battery
Nice instructions for the enclosure. Can you mention details of the components you used? Which model amplifier and power supply and costs? Thanks.
