About:I am a simple man who enjoys staying busy with my hands, and exercising my mind. Grown tired of people who too often say "I don't care" and "Why bother", a world of "planned obsolescence", "throw and go" work ethics, "cheaper is better" mentalities, stockholders that insist operations should be moved wherever labor is cheaper, and products continue to be manufactured with inferior quality. Guess I'm kind of outdated. I still believe "you get what you pay for", and "nothing good is free" to a certain extent anyway... It is possible to make things yourself, for free or at very low cost, and with very high quality; if you are willing to put forth an effort; and give up the time in front of the tube to do something fruitful. You don't have to be a wizard or know it all to do these things, instructions and information is readily available for anyone to access. Just gotta get off yer butt and try to find something that interests you more than thousands of re-runs on TV, grab hold, and JUST DO IT!!! Maybe my mission statement here should be "Quality on a shoestring", as most of my projects over time have been done using items I find at hand.
