Just a purely aesthetic observation...I noticed in the picture where you laid out the pattern on the saw blade that you were very close to two teeth at the end of the tang. Maybe on a future blade, line up two of those teeth and leave them exposed at the end of the handle...Dull them so you don't snag on them, but it might be a good look and also reflect the blades source material.
When I continue the pattern twice more, it solves the cube...
