I have "salvaged" some batteries from a rechargeable drill and after destroying said battery to salvage said batteries I noticed that all that was wrong was a tab had lifted and broke the circuit so no go and no charge :(
another project on the way thanks
Why would you put support structures under a flat print seen like a waste of filament to me
half made one years ago but drew a blank half way through thanks for showing a complete one
Looks great but would you be able to do this with just a half sphere and a very slow dc motor driving it to give a smoother flow of moon phases
I'm green with envy. Have you thought about adding a tailstock giving you a safer method to do longer than the 15" you mentioned
I just have the Geeetech Pro3 B and I am very jealous this would open a world of possibilities
Never use your hand to hold anything you are drilling it is a quick way to loose fingers and if you do you won't be the first or last to loose some fingers always make sure it is firmly clamped or held in a vise
Have you thought about making the bottom have a v groove to be able to drill them into round dowel like on chair rungs. I going to have to print one of these thanks

The problem with alternator is that when you reach 85% they drop back to a trickle charge and not the big rate at the start
Heatsink for Diy laser engraver
I also meant to ask if you could fit a larger capacity battery just to run it longer
Great build how long does it run on a single charge
instead of soldering to the battery and ruining it why don't you use the wireless charging setup just connect the solar panel through a voltage controller so the wireless input is 5volts and tape the coil to the outside of the phone
could you make a thick solution with abs and acetone and paint it on pla like varnish to give a smooth finish
samsung, LG, Panasonic, motoma are 4 different brands that I recommend having tested both for capacity and load capability
I had the same problem so I bought a nokoser digital charger to test them and I did not find any batteries that had the rated capacity so I now only buy samsung panasonic or if you know a reputable battery agent try them. I have done a bit of research and it is not unknown for them to put a very tiny cheap battery so you will get a voltage reading when tested and then fill the cell up with some unknown white powder.
