Also, I cannot find a 4" cpu fan, only a 120mm one. But then I can't find a junction box that is 120mm, only 4". Where did you find your 4" cpu fan?
How exactly do you cut the square and circle out of the junction box? What tools are you using?

It is a very old idea, at least as old as the litter box itself. We had one in the early 70's , same thing as in the picture but not enclosed. It was a hooded tray. Hooded or enclosed it really is worth the effort to make one and it hardly cost anything.Over the years since than we have found some cats never get used to the fan sound and will poop in the sink, bathtub or your bed instead :)
