I know that touch isn't mentioned in the ad on ebay, but the unit has touch pins, and the is an IC on the back labelled 'xpt2046', which I believe is a touch driver IC, correct?
I know that touch isn't mentioned in the ad on ebay, but the unit has touch pins, and the is an IC on the back labelled 'xpt2046', which I believe is a touch driver IC, correct?I'm wondering if I need to level correct the logic voltage for the touch pins as well. The outputs from Arduino are easy enough, but the MISO from the unit to the Arduino isn't. Do I need to increase it's voltage fom 3.3V to 5V, somehow?
Got it going. I had my voltage divider resistors wrong. Now all is well. Thanks so much for your work. It is quite a bit faster than the original from Adafruit.
Thanks! It looks promising. I can't seem to get it working with a 2.4" ILI9341 display from ebay. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/291549777432?_trksid=p2057...) Would you please be able to tell me if it should work and I am just hooking it up incorrectly, or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks!
