Nice instructable! I will be using this with my daughters to get them more comfortable with 'being engineers' ... the occupation, not you in particular ;) We discussed doing this to film a time lapse of the trees in our yard growing leaves this Spring.I do wonder why you decided not to use a pi cam though. Is it just that everyone seems to have at least one old USB webcam lying around? No complaints (I already have a Pi 3 and several old webcams collecting dust, so this saves me $25) just wondering if there were other reasons.

@rafununu: Why not useful? When else would you need light in the shower? This isn't meant to be a way to light the house in general, just for some light during a time when the water is running anyway.
Juliana, narrow your search to these: http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?...Most of the ones in the broader search are way too small.
Sounds great and good instructions! I don't have a pi zero yet, so didn't actually try it but added it to my collection. One suggestion though. In a few places you mention 'safety' which was a bit alarming until I realized you mean 'security.' Not a big deal, but you might want to change the wording.
