I found your instructable helpfull. I bought about 17 various rc cars from a flea market, some had controllers, some didnt. I couldnt figure out how to make a 27 remote work with a 27 car. Well after finding this instructable i learned what that ferite core was for and bypassed it on the transmitter and now a few of the 27 cars that didnt do anything now work!
Nice! Any ideas how to increase amperage?

Hi. I got here following TL431. Your article was quite interesting. I'm looking for technical ideas to cheat our dishwasher's temperature sensing. It's highest available temperature is 50°C (and in reality it's even lower, around 46°C), which happened to be not enough, grease accumulates in the corners, bad washing performance. I believe that the temperature is controlled by a TL431. The question is, how could I raise the temp from 50 to 65°C? One technical detail, it might help (this is written on the panel): WQP8-9239H S-S(9239H). Every help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi thanks for sharing. I have a power supply and would like to modify it from 21.30v to 9v. There are two 470ohm resistors with a bdx zener. What resistors should I change to for this output? Can you please help me?Thanks
Hi I need help. One day the power supply stop supplying voltage to the notebook...so I unplugged it from the notebook...and after half hour tried it again. It worked...but I did not want to risk and try to find real cause. I have opened the power supply and found puffy condenser (the big one). I bought one and replace him...but before I remove the isslotaaion "pink gum" between thyristor (probably) and the copper plate below. It was my assemble fail...but when I put it in the socket (without that isolation)...bang. The fuse is KO...but I don't know if is good idea to replace it...whether there is damaged something else. Can anyone help ? Probably I will buy new one (power supply)...but for my good or bad feeling I would like to know more. Thanks a lot for your comments and helps :)
