I don't think it would work very well.
You don't dry it in a microwave, just run them under water to remove excess, then air dry on a few sheets of kitchen roll.
Found this post very useful. Being a 90s skater, I ran 2 and 3 tone street snakes. I never knew back then that they were dyed. Fast forward 19 years and the Internet gives up the trade secrets lol. I wanted white/blue 2 tone street snakes (not available) so thought I'd have a try..
