Hi againI was wondering if you would be interested in working with me on a battery charging related controller. This is a commercial requirement. Please email me if you can. Regards
Another quick one. In the schematic shouldn't the lcd backlight be connected to vcc thru a current limiting resistor instead of gnd?
What's the component marked Q1
Oops forgot to add . I dont have the mosfet you mentioned. Can i use IRF9540 or IRFP9140.
Hi Martin This looks really interesting. Am attempting to build this. I'm sure i will have questions. Hope you dont mind helping me out?!
Actually i have used old laptop batteries to make a 44ah battery pack. Charging it at your default setting of 1Amp would take far too long. I modified your splendid code to get 2.2amps from the system but the mosfets were getting too hot. So how to get a 6amp charging current while keeping the hardware components comfortable?
how do I make this 6 amps capable
Microcontroller based smart battery charger
Was hoping to take this project further. Is it possible to PM you.
