Hrm, interesting problem. Do you have the specification for it? When I wrote the SVG generation code for Inkscape, I was doing the constructive geometry based on the ANSI spec itself.Alternatively, do you just need to duplicate existing sprockets? Then you could put them on a flatbed scanner, scan them in, and trace their outlines in whatever vector drawing program you like. I've had a lot of luck with that approach for similar problems.
Thanks! I have some concerns about that as well, but I guess I don't see THAT many light poles knocked over...
