Sorry for the late reply, I had missed the comment. I'm really happy with the construction, it's rock solid and holding up nicely. I can't think of anything that I would change. After posting this instructable, I did buy 1 cubic yard of crushed stone ($26), spreading half at each end in order to grade the approaches. That worked out really well and does not wear paths from the ATV tires. I think larger gravel might not work as well - the crushed stone has an almost pulverized consistency that packs nicely. All in all, I most benefited from having an ATV as well as an inexpensive 4x8 trailer that could hitch to the ATV. Would have been a lot harder without them. Good luck!!

Very impressive! Great design.
Thanks! Yes, it has been quite a bit of work, especially for one person. But I expect it will be well worth it over the years. Hopefully yours has stood the test of time!
