This is so cool! I'm totally going to have to try this now!
This is great! And I love the whiteboard aspect too!
I love your painting technique. It really gives the appearance of metal.
Those look really good! What kind of wood did you use, and are they heavy?
That's a good idea! And I have those same magazine holders! I'll have to try this out on them.
This is really good advice! My mom always dries her wooden utensils fully by sticking them in the microwave for 30 seconds. That way they don't sit with water soaked through them.

Handsewing the Case Using the Backstitch
Thank you!The only thing I'd probably change is I'd cut a couple inches off the length in the front. I don't know if that wording makes any sense, but I can't think of another way to word it.It works fine the way it is, but it can only get as tight as how I'm wearing it because the overlapping parts are too long and can't go past the rivets of the straps. If I cut it, I could make it fit tighter, which would make it fit a bit better. It's a really easy fix, so I might just cut it and re-dye the edge.
It's just for looks. I use it in steampunk and pirate costumes.

Thank you!I did not burnish them. I didn't know what that was when I was making it. If I made it again, I probably would.
Thank you so much!
