Unkess you are buyin 100% alcohol, will contain water. The difference with isopropyl alcohol is that it contains either purified or distilled water, both of which are safe to use for this application.
Thank you! The warning on the back just states to use the NES cartridge cleaning system, but they themselves are collectors items now. Alcohol is safe to use with electronics. Vinegar can actually be used as well, but I prefer alcohol because ot dries much faster and does not have that smell.
