hi jarhead, your comment on my jet engine instructable violates the be-nice policy and I flagged it. If you had read the instructable before critisizing me and embaressing yourself you would know that when making this project I didn't intend for it to power anything and deal with the stress for very long. I only wanted to see if I could get it to run for about 30 seconds. I never used coffee cans, I used peach and green bean cans. Please read the instructable before posting policy-offending comments.

i did read the instructable. and 30 seconds is more than enough time for flammable gas to ignite. if somthing went wrong on ignition you would not last 30 seconds and it would be over for you in more like 5 seconds. Im not critisising you, im just saying this is not the smartest thing to do. And if you didnt intend it to deal with the stess very long then essentialy you didnt care if it blew up and shot shrapnel every which way. But overall a great instructable that people can learn a lot from. This could also make a good model for a science project. -jarheadwithm16 P.S peach cans, green bean cans and coffee cans are all basically the same thing.
