Word Art for Non-Painters
I think the simplicity and quality of the photos and process are excellent. I enjoy repurposing materials like steel cable and industrial items in ways they were not designed to be used is artful and creative. Well done. You have given me a number of future projects to think about.
Tying a tie.Regrettably, the "Instructible" was not that good. There are a number of ways a tie may be tied e.g. Windsor, half-Windsor, Marine Corp. etc. You might do well to research the methods on similar sites and select the one that best suits the collar design of your shirt. To the OP, your demo would be better filmed into a mirror so the viewer sees what their mirror will reflect.Hope this helps. PS the tie material also affects the final result. Silk is generally favoured as it rarely creases but glossy silk will tend to slip more than a coarser silk.
