  • Raspberry PI and DHT22 temperature and humidity logger with LAMP and Email warnings

Currently, there isn't possibility to use different sensors together. However It could be done quite easily by adding multiple sensor type configurations to config file and using them when reading data from sensors.

Thanks for correction. :) What I meant was that it doesn't "officially" support DHT11 as I cannot test them, but glad to hear that everything works ok.

Hi,host, user, password and database settings need to be correct. And these should match the ones that you provided in step 9. $host = "localhost"; $user = "logger"; $password = "password"; $database = "temperatures";Also check that your temperature table has some entries to show. If table is empty, nothing is shown in the page. And finally, check that index.php page loads up. To do so you can simply edit index.php. If this works then you know that problem is within the mysql / settings part, double check those and make sure you have data in table.

Good job. About the graph visualization, I was thinking about it some time ago as well and came up with highcharts. Highcharts provides non-commercial license for free and would be suitable for the task. There are some nice posts in web to introduce how highcharts can be utilized, e.g. this one: http://blueflame-software.com/how-to-load-mysql-results-to-highcharts-using-json/

Project updated. It is now also possible to set humidity trigger limits to config.json and receive warnings if humidity received from sensor/s doesn't fit between the set limits.

Hi, I have been considering this before as this would be handy feature in my personal use as well. Feature is on my to-do list and waiting that I have time to finish it.

Hi, This project doesn't support DHT11. I don't have any DHT11 sensors available and thus cannot test it.

Hi, I would definitely like to help, but unfortunately, with this information, there isn't that much I can help you with. But as others have managed to get it working with same instructions, I will kindly ask you to reproduce the steps again.

Hi, I think this might be the case these days. php-cli worked back in the day when I first wrote the instructions and have changed since. I will add your notice to instructable. Thanks for pointing this out.
